1. If you could switch lives with anyone you knew personally, who would it be and why? I can't say that I would particularly want to switch lives with anyone because it would throw me off so much I wouldn't be able to enjoy it. However, I think that I would enjoy being my kitten, Mika, for a few days because - damn - she gets to sleep SO much. 2. Why is the sky blue? And I don't want the phony bologna scientific answer, I want the real answer, the magic answer. Well, the truth is Mr. Miersma, the scientific answer is a crock of bullshit created by nobodys who wanted to sound mildly intelligent when speaking to their superiors. The real (and obviously more realistic) answer to your question lies in a special Banzai tree located in the heart of Tokyo. This banzai tree releases a colored gas in to the air twice a year. Now when the gas is first released, it appears a yellowish/greenish color. But as the gas rises, its molecules combine with other molecules to form a pale blue tint. On hot days the sky is a brighter blue because the gas gets happy and begins to dance. When it does so, the gas gets hot and turns a brighter shade. When the gas is unhappy the sky turns GREY and it RAINS. 3. Who has the best Cannoli in Portland? This question is flawed...I don't think i've had cannoli in Portland that's particularly good...but i'll tell you this - The best Cannoli place in the U.S. is in New Orleans at a place called Brocato's. It's illegal to sell in Sicily because the cheese is so fresh and they have bad refrigeration systems there (which can make you sick if it's left out), but the risk is worth it. 4. If you found a banana slug on top of a dam, hundreds of feet from dirt/grass, would you pick it up and carry it in your hands to the nearet grassy nole? Or would you salt it and put it out of it's misery? I have actually never salted a slug. I think that if this actually happened I a): wouldn't notice the slug or b): Would continue walking. Cruel, I know. Once i stepped on a giant slug in my backyard and I scraped it off with a teaspoon. Yes, i still use the teaspoon. And yes, I washed it first. 5. What is the best compliment you have ever recieved? I think a couple years ago my mom told me that I had a beautiful spirit, and that if anything ever happened to either one of us, she was proud to have known me for as long as she did. That seems almost morbid reading it now, but at the time it was a sweet sweet compliment because i believe it was after a friend's mom had died. I think that compliments probably shouldn't be rated though...every compliment I have ever recieved has been wonderful as long as it was genuine. 6. Whatever happened to the culture club? (YES THIS QUESTION WAS GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE)....oh i will tell you what happened! Boy George began his own career, but damn that band was sweet. ...Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry? (funny how everyone only remembers that one) | | Wednesday, August 6th, 2003 | | 2:24 pm |
Interschmiewwwwww
1. If pee was a different color, what color would it be? I believe that pee would look like smoked glass because whenever I read about people with Jaundice I always picture their pee being that dark. Although, if regular pee were that dark then people with Jaundice would have to have jet black pee...hmmm.... 2. What is the best food? I am a lover of most foods, but I'd have to go with the eel and yellowtail at Tani's, Pasta Al Greco, homemade chocolate chip cookies, tomato soup, lassis, and cannoli. 3. If you could have invented something that already exists, what would it be? Well i used to want to invent the heated ice cream scooper but then i went to Fred Meyer and they already had it...GRR. But I would definitely go with electricity, the telephone, the movie projector, or the radio because all have become quite useful. 4. If you had to turn one of our friends gay, who would it be? Hmmm...I'd say Michael Miersma because, well, because. Doesn't it just seem like the right answer? 5. Why do people buy fake christmas trees? Especially those ugly white ones? It's a combination between having no taste and never seeing snow. I find that most people buy them who live in Florida, California, etc., although the idiots who buy them here have NO excuse. My family used to own a regular fake x-mas tree, but that was because my parents didn't believe in cutting down trees. Guess we gave up on that one.... woo hoo! I just went to the park...it was fun. Wow so I realized Claire's leaving for her cruise in like 2 days...so awesome, I'm sure she will have a frighteningly excellent time while we all sit at home and update our livejournals :) I would very much like to spend the rest of the summer on a beach in Buenos Aires. That's muh plan... join me if you feel so inclined. Alright, let's get to the good stuff: wait, wait that's it. No random objects dialogue today!! HAHAAAAAAAAA...alright. So here's the deal: I have tried to update my journal twice, and both times my computer fucked it up. Anyway, I just ate some "righteous" berry crisp...yumm! I tried to take a nap today, but it was too hot. Ahh I saw grease last night and Lindsay and Michael were fantabulous, of course (good job!)....it was interesting to see how northwest childrens theater would do it, and it was an awesome show! I'm tempted to go on a walk right now, but I'd really rather watch a movie. Suppose I ought to take care of that -ooh before I go. It's time for another episode of "RANDOM OBJECTS DIALOGUE": Pencil Sharpener: Hey stapler, lookin good! Stapler: Don't you go sexual harrassment on my ass..i'll nail you to the carpet Pencil Sharpener: Ow. AND SCENE Current Mood: undecidedCurrent Music: 311 | | Monday, July 14th, 2003 | | 5:54 pm |

hee hee so i tried to comment on the comments that were put up from when i posted on claire's livejournal, but unfortunately i was unable to do so. In other news i want donuts....bad. Also I realize that "donuts" is not the proper spelling, but on the other hand it would appear that it has become the mainstream way to spell "doughnuts". That is all. Summer summer toh tummer
Wow! So i can't even remember the last time i updated this here journal, but savira reminded me so i thought i'd write in a little something before i leave for vacation. Tomorrow i'm leaving reaaalllly early in the morning to catch a flight to Italy, and i'm very excited!!! It's going to be oodles upon oodles of fun (so i hope!), but it feels weird to be leaving so soon after school got out. Today was pretty productive...i was able to get an interview for Child's Eye Playhouse before i left, which made me :), and later Claire took me to sign up for an extra in a movie shooting this summer (with keanu reeves....whoaaaa...). I'm feeling pretty tired right now because i've been going out to get last minute stuff before i leave, and doing all my laundry at the last minute. OHHHH by the way - HOMEWORK OVER THE SUMMER=DIRTY INCEST - yeah i said it. Cha cha boochie, cha cha cha boochie. If I were a donkey i wouldn't name myself Ass because that would be too obvious. Well see you all soon...write me @ stareeyes19@aol.com (lame screen name? yes i know)so i can find surprises when i check my e-mail. I'll be expecting lots of porn...wait....please don't. Miss you! Enjoy and save fun for me! | | Monday, April 21st, 2003 | | 9:55 pm |
i'm reading about psilocybin mushrooms and it's really humourous. I'm at a website called "Erowid" and the author has done A LOT of drugs!! Kathy and i have made our career decisions: she will be working at Red Robin while i shall waitress at Denny's. We always had high hopes for the future, but never before today did we realize the meaning of living up to our full potential! YUM i made cookies and i'm eating them. Today i also took a nap from 5:30 - 7:00, which was more than enjoyable. So you guys should all see "Bend It Like Beckham"...Claire probably already mentioned this in her journal but i'm going to say it again: Jonothan Rhys Meyers is one foxy boy, if i may say so. Ooooowheeee!!! Anyway, i'm quite quite quite ready for summer; i havfe an NHS meeting at 7:30 am on wednesday and that's sounding entirely too early for my liking...oh well... Off to bed then | | Friday, April 4th, 2003 | | 9:12 pm |
CASE OF THE ORION BEALE
Alright so Coco's powers of persuasion have finally convinced me to update my livejournal, so here goes... I'm super excited because i just discovered through the A & E that Ben Harper and Jack Johnson are coming to Columbia Meadows on August 20th and I could eat a pencil i'm so happy!! I rented Hairspray to watch tonight, and i found it quite amusing because i walked into Clinton and they had it going on their lil' ol' movie screen. I'm missing my ethnic circle, but i'm looking forward to our zoo excursion next weekend...it's going to be weird (in a VERY good way) having my Saturdays back since Teens is over. Hmm...I'm eating potato soup and cheese toast right now and it is the bomb schmiggety. OOh - i've also decided that i need to have a passionate fling with a studly stranger (oh yes, it will be happening) - here, for the amusement of us all (well primarily me) i am going to tell you all about it: (The setting is a brazilian beach...the sun is beginning to set and there are a few scattered tourists walking along the sand) Phoebe: hmm...it's so warm and breezy tonight, i think i'll take a walk along this lovely brazilian beach ::sigh:: ..Uh...Orion (yes that's his name): Why hello there stranger! Phoebe: Um hi Orion (okay let's leave it at hot guy): You look amazing in your flowery sarong, and voluptous long hair (p.s. my hair is suddenly thick and long) Phoebe: why thank you...i didn't catch your name, sexy Hot Boy: It's...well...it doesn't matter Phoebe: True true, let's get down to business Hot Boy: Yeah okay Wow...that was pretty....hot? Hmm i'm in a silly mood. So i'm going to make an attempt to update this thang a little more ::clears throat:: frequently. Mm hmm. My license test is on April 24th so i'm gonna drive lots and lots...llllaaaaaaazoooooooo!!!! Ciao bellas. Hmmmm First Entry.....
So today i got this here live journal....very interesting you see because, as you will soon find out, i'm not always very consistent about keeping up with this sort of thing. Hee hee i am now a member of "livejournal" group....sigh....flocking with the rest of the crowd :) Anyway, i'm eating some really good "Praline Supreme" Ice cream right now, and i hope you all know that it took me a damn long time to get this journal started because someone (i really can't comprehend who) already had the name FILBERT and PHILBERT! Hmmm...weird....Adios for now y'all i'm a hittin the sack. Current Mood: sleepyCurrent Music: ...the diddys in my head |
